A not-for-profit organization representing Lee, Hendry and Glades counties, is a powerful voice for the building industry in the regulatory arena. Membership in the Florida Home Builders Association and the National Association of Home Builders is automatic upon joining the Lee BIA.
Since 1942, NAHB has been serving its members, the housing industry and the public at large. NAHB’s various groups analyze policy issues, work toward improving the housing finance system and analyze and forecast economic and consumer trends.

Lee BIA Builders Care, the Lee BIA’s philanthropic arm, has provided over $5 million dollars of emergency home repairs to Lee County homeowners who are unable to make those repairs themselves. Lee BIA Builders Care serves the most vulnerable in our community: the handicapped and elderly. Help us make a meaningful difference.

Spike Club members are the true champions of the Lee BIA. By recruiting, retaining and getting members involved, Spikes strengthen and build both our association and the industry.
Spike credits are earned by recruiting and retaining members. The National Association of Home Builders (NAHB) recognizes and rewards your membership development efforts with its Spike Club program.
To achieve Spike status, you must earn six credits within two consecutive years. To retain Spike status and become a Life Spike, you must earn a minimum of one Spike credit (new or retention) each membership year until you reach a total of 25 credits.
